A Typical Day at CPI

Our teachers vary their daily activities and lessons based on seasonal themes and student interests. We do not have a “one size fits all” curriculum, and classes vary in their scheduling times. Below is one example of a typical day in a CPI classroom!

10 mins: Handwashing and Unpacking

30 mins: Free Play and Guided Discovery

15 mins: Circle Time and Calendar, Special Helper share, brief lesson on activities of the day

15 mins: Small group activity such as art project or journals

40 mins: Centers and Free Play

15 mins: Closing Circle and Storytime

10 mins: Snack

30 mins: Outdoor Play and Dismissal
